Meet the Barrick Pickering Racing Team!
Our drivers have diverse backgrounds in business and in their hobbies!

Randal Barrick
|
Randal started his racing career after tuning 50, so when others were thinking about sleeping in, he was out and about - on early morning "road trips" - to events.
His first racing venue was autocrossing with Porsche Club of America's Zone 7. Randal spent the first year following Rich Bontempi's advice, i.e., "Don't touch your car for the first year - just get lots and lots of seat time." Following that first year Randal strapped on a set of Hoosiers and has had sustained success, not only in PCA's Golden Gate Region, but also in the Loma Prieta Region and Zone 7. Randal was also asked to be a Zone 7 instructor and has participated in 6 autocross schools.
During the last 5 years Randal has been constantly developing his car, in essence turning a beautiful street car into a light weight, but safe autocross / track car. In fact, the next venue to explore will be time trialing and track days, now that Randal has earned his PCA license. And mixed in during those track days will be several hillclimbs in Northern California and Oregon.
